Actually, Maurice, it may sound surprising, but interest in the Cannes Film Festival is at an all-time high. It's true that video is booming across many platforms, and as a creator or producer, you no longer necessarily need to show your work in movie theaters to reach an audience — but events like this are still major audience and media magnets. I guess it has a lot to do with networking and having something to report.

I don’t think any other country has such a selection of pastries, made so beautifully and deliciously. It’s basically art. The quality of life, or what the French call savoir vivre, is unmatched.
