A crypto investor, John Woeltz, 37, was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly kidnapping and torturing a 28-year-old Italian man to access his Bitcoin wallet. The victim, held for weeks in a luxury townhouse, was bound, beaten, drugged, and electrocuted before escaping on Friday. Woeltz faces charges of kidnapping, assault, and weapons possession. Evidence included cocaine, night vision goggles, and Polaroids of the victim at gunpoint.
This incident underscores a rising trend of violent "wrench attacks" targeting crypto holders, with at least 26 such cases reported in 2025, including a recent attempted kidnapping in Paris and a $123,000 theft in London.
Being early—or taking a risk—can pay off big time!
In my opinion, it’s also the safest crypto to trade. Most other coins can swing wildly and catch you off guard, especially if you’re trading with leverage.
Will it boom or have a massive downfall?
But the hard reality is, the team always finds a way to mess things up. They’re just not competitive anymore on so many levels. I honestly don’t see them getting their hands on the trophy now, or even in the next decade—if ever.
Marco Rubio welcomed the agreements reached on the exchange of prisoners of war and the intention of each side to prepare its own proposals outlining the conditions necessary for a ceasefire
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Saturday (May 17, 2025) called his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, to discuss the outcome of Friday’s direct negotiations between delegations of Kyiv and Moscow in Istanbul.
Probably, Mr. Rubio’s call to his counterpart on Saturday indicates that both Moscow and Washington are working on an early US-Russian summit.

You wake up. Your phone’s alarm learns your habits and gradually adjusts based on your sleep patterns. That’s AI.
You check the weather. The forecast? Powered by predictive models that analyze massive amounts of climate data in real-time. That’s AI.
You scroll through your feed. The posts you see are chosen by algorithms trained to show what’s most likely to catch your attention — again, AI.
Even your coffee machine might be using AI to learn when you usually brew your morning cup.
The truth is, AI isn’t some futuristic robot. It’s already around you — smart assistants, recommendation systems, navigation apps, fitness trackers — all making decisions for you, often without you noticing.
So the next time you think AI is "coming soon"… remember, it already woke you up today.
