The relevance of such events, at least from my perspective, seems to be fading. I can't say for sure whether they attract less attention or media coverage, but I do think there's a major shift happening from cinema and TV productions toward the internet, YouTube, TikTok, and similar platforms.

And the latest examples of what AI can already do in the video space are wild. In just 1–2 years, you might be able to create your own "movie" simply by typing a few commands into a software.
