    I'm no construction expert, but sure, a roof flying off is one thing. The real problem with American houses is that they’re often built without concrete, so they hardly stand a chance against major storms, let alone a hurricane that strong.

    Looking at water vapor seeing how Milton is slowly starting to be absorbed into the mid latitude flow. On approach to west central Florida. New NHC guidance sets up an overnight landfall which makes the surge issue even more dangerous than it already is.
