@Maria44, As far as I know, it’s mostly the massive emissions from the ’60s and ’70s onwards. Production, cars—everything is much cleaner today. So, the effects we’re seeing now are largely the “bill” for what happened in the past.

Hurricanes, extreme heat waves, dying oceans—it seems like our planet is in increasingly worse shape. The question is, is this from what we’re doing now, or from what we did 20, 30 years ago?
