The real problem is algorithms that reward clickbait over quality. Creators focus solely on views, not value, turning content into "fast food for the brain." YouTube and TikTok? Absolutely horrible. Five years ago, YouTube had real quality content. Today, no one is willing to produce quality work because they have to abide by endless rules, grind endlessly, and still hope the algorithm starts pushing their content. Even worse, children are being exploited for clicks. Kids are used as props to create shallow, flashy videos that rack up views, all while disregarding their well-being. It’s unethical, to say the least. I’m aware Rabbilo plans to introduce long-format videos in early 2025, and I’m optimistic they’ll do a much better job than YouTube. Platforms need to prioritize quality over quantity and stop encouraging creators to chase views at the expense of everything else.
