Four years ago we decorated 13 public Christmas trees with good wishes for Christmas and New Year in more than 30 languages in Messestadt Riem, a part of Munich. People from more than 120 nations live in this intercultural quarter. Furthermore, people from all over the world come to the trade fair center and the ICM (International Congress Center Munich)

„Christkindltram“ in Munich - with Christmas decoration, ginger bread and hot punch in the tram, including Christmas songs while you make a small tour in the city center. 🚋🎄🎅🍷🍹🍪🍪🍪🎼🎸🎹🎺🎷🎄🎅🎄🎄🌟💫✨😃 After a break of 5 years we have this lovely tradition again. 😊

I am ready for Christmas! 🎄🐒 Our Christmas traditions: Drinking orange punch, eating Christmas cookies and listening Christmas songs while we decorate the tree. As soon as the tree is decorated we watch the old film „Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel“ (Tree wishes for Cinderella. 😀

Yes, that is true, but I think everybody is responsible for himself/herself and can make his/her own decisions regarding Christmas and its traditions. E. g. my boss has a broken foot and she had to change her plans (impossible to travel, smaller tree …), but she makes the best of this situation.

Yes, I totally agree. A few years ago there were some competitors in the German market, but unfortunately they disappeared. The fees for hosts remained at the same level, however the fees for guests increased during the past few years. If guests have their own insurance it is always good when they book directly. However, we already needed the Airbnb insurance two times.This insurance and the check of the identity of guests via Airbnb are advantages for hosts.

Yes, fees for guests are really high on Airbnb, but hosts have a good insurance when using Airbnb. But our guests come via various channels, some of them come each year to the same trade fair. They book directly and I am always happy to see them again. 🐒😊
