Bitcoin is trying to climb back to $110,000 after "dropping" to $108,600 following its new all-time high.

The crazy part is that some are calling this a chance to "buy the dip"—wild to call it a dip when it just recovered from $76K to $110K.

Bitcoin comfortably sitting at over 110,000 USD per coin. Insane! I remember how it dropped day after day, week after week, all the way down to 77,000 USD. And now, to increase in valuation by over 40% in less than 8 weeks is wild.

But the actual big hurdle for crypto is still becoming mainstream for payments. That’ll most likely happen through a stablecoin like USDC at some point.

But still – no sign of that anywhere. No supermarket, no bakery, no nothing.

So there it is — Bitcoin reclaimed the 100,000 today and is even pushing toward 101 or higher. The whole altcoin market followed, making this one of the best days (if not the best) for anyone who was long. Still a big surprise, considering yesterday’s breakout attempt got instantly sold off.

The crypto market is definitely not for the faint of heart. BTC was under $80K just weeks ago, and now it’s actually pushing toward $100K. Sure, a lot of people expected it to get there sooner — but here we are. I still don’t think the broader market conditions support a much higher valuation, but hey, it’s wild out there.

Huge hype about a coming crypto bullrun, but I doubt we’ll see "exploding" prices. Markets need fresh capital, and where would that come from now? Those who can invest are mostly already in, mainly BTC. 100k BTC in May? Possible, but far from certain.

As previously posted, BTC is still facing selling pressure. It dropped below $94K yesterday, finding buyers at $93,454. This dip suggests strong buying interest around $92K and solid support at $90K. Stay cautious with longs!
