Zelenskyy to meet with Scholz, Erdogan, and Lula during US visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with the leaders of Germany, Turkey, and Brazil on Monday as part of his five-day visit to the United States. The leaders are attending the United Nations Summit of the Future in New York City.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has consistently supported Ukraine, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva have maintained more neutral positions regarding the ongoing conflict.

On Sunday, Zelenskyy visited an ammunition plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he expressed gratitude to workers for their contributions to Ukraine's defense efforts against Russian forces. In a social media post, he remarked on the significance of such facilities, emphasizing their role in the democratic world's strength.

Later this week, Zelenskyy is expected to present his "victory plan" to U.S. President Joe Biden, as well as to presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. This visit underscores ongoing international discussions regarding support for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict.
