Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on September 26 to discuss his strategic plan for Ukraine’s ongoing conflict with Russia, according to the White House. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the U.S. leaders will reaffirm their strong commitment to supporting Ukraine until it achieves victory.
In addition to Biden and Harris, Zelenskyy plans to meet with former President Donald Trump, although Trump's team has yet to confirm this engagement. Before his meetings in Washington, Zelenskyy will address the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Ukrainian presidency has indicated that Zelenskyy will also engage with U.S. arms manufacturers and energy companies during his visit, highlighting the multifaceted nature of discussions surrounding military and energy support for Ukraine.
