In a recent poll, former President Donald Trump garnered a higher favorability rating than music icon Taylor Swift. The poll, conducted by the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena College, surveyed 2,436 likely voters across the United States between September 11-16.
According to the results, 47% of respondents viewed Trump favorably, compared to 44% who had a favorable opinion of Swift. However, both figures also had significant unfavorable ratings. Trump was viewed unfavorably by 51% of respondents, while 34% held unfavorable views of Swift.
The same poll revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, received a favorability rating of 48%, with 49% viewing her unfavorably.
