Former President Donald Trump criticized Google in a post on TRUTH Social, alleging that the tech company has unlawfully implemented a system to highlight negative stories about him while favoring positive narratives about Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Trump claimed that this practice amounts to election interference.
In his post, Trump stated, "It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about Comrade Kamala Harris." He expressed concern over the implications of such actions for the electoral process.
Trump urged the Justice Department to pursue criminal charges against Google for what he described as "blatant Interference of Elections." He reiterated that Republicans have historically scrutinized Big Tech regarding allegations of election bias and censorship during congressional hearings.
He concluded his message by stating that if no action is taken, he would seek maximum legal repercussions against Google if he wins the upcoming election and becomes President of the United States.
