North Carolina GOP nominee Robinson denies controversial remarks on forum

North Carolina Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson is facing allegations from a CNN report claiming he made controversial remarks on a porn forum over a decade ago. The report states that Robinson referred to himself as a "black Nazi" and expressed support for slavery on the website "Nude Africa," a message board for adult content.

Robinson has denied the allegations, stating in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), "Those are not the words of Mark Robinson. You know my words. You know my character, and you know that I have been completely transparent in this race and before."

CNN alleges that the comments, described as "sexual and lewd in nature," were made by Robinson between 2008 and 2012. The report has sparked widespread attention as Robinson is currently running for governor in North Carolina.

Robinson's campaign has yet to release further statements regarding the allegations as the controversy continues to unfold.
