Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., expressed concerns on Saturday about potential threats against former President Donald Trump as the 2024 presidential election approaches. In a post on the social media platform X, Greene predicted the possibility of further assassination attempts and even suggested the election might be delayed.
“We have entered the most dangerous phase of the election,” Greene stated. She noted that Trump’s support was growing rapidly, with momentum shifting in his favor. According to Greene, this surge in support could lead to increased efforts by opponents to stop him.
Greene claimed there had already been two attempts on Trump's life, including one at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and another while he was golfing in Florida. In addition to legal challenges, she speculated that more assassination attempts could follow.
As the election nears, both Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris have been actively campaigning across the U.S., rallying their supporters in various states.
