A recent survey reveals that a significant portion of suburban women in key swing states are skeptical about Vice President Kamala Harris's ability to address economic issues, a top concern for voters in the 2024 election. The survey, conducted by the Place America First super PAC, found that 72% of suburban women prioritize the economy, with 70% believing that Harris lacks "viable solutions" compared to former President Donald Trump.
The poll, which targeted voters in swing states such as Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, also showed Trump gaining ground among other key demographic groups. Approximately 65% of English-speaking Hispanic voters and 67% of veterans indicated a preference for Trump, believing he is better equipped to address economic and veteran issues.
The survey was conducted shortly after the first debate between Trump and Harris, focusing on voters' impressions of the candidates. The calls were made to 50,000 randomly selected voters using artificial intelligence-powered agents, a new initiative launched by the super PAC to engage and mobilize voters.
While Harris saw a slight increase in support following the debate, polls indicate a close race in battleground states. Trump is leading in states like Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina, while Harris holds a lead in Pennsylvania, a crucial state for the upcoming election.
