Kamala Harris Outpaces Trump in August Fundraising, Gaining Financial Edge for Election Day

Kamala Harris's presidential campaign and the Democratic Party raised $361 million in August, her campaign announced on Friday, giving her a clear financial lead over Republican opponent Donald Trump. At the beginning of September, Harris’s campaign reported having $404 million in cash on hand.

In contrast, Trump’s campaign, along with the Republican Party, raised $130 million during the same month, leaving $295 million in cash reserves at the end of August. The financial disparity between the two campaigns comes with just two months remaining before Election Day.
