Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris's campaign has announced that she will participate in a second presidential debate, scheduled for October 23 on CNN. This follows earlier statements from former President Donald Trump, who indicated there would not be any more debates.

In a statement, Harris's campaign chairwoman, Jen O’Malley Dillon, emphasized the importance of providing the American public with another opportunity to witness a debate between Harris and Trump. "Vice President Harris is ready for another opportunity to share a stage with Donald Trump, and she has accepted CNN’s invitation to a debate on October 23," O'Malley Dillon said. She also expressed hope that Trump would agree to participate.

As of now, Trump has not publicly responded to the announcement from Harris's campaign regarding the upcoming debate.
