Israeli military strikes over 300 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon

The Israeli military has reported conducting strikes on more than 300 targets in Lebanon, which it claims were used as weapons depots by the Iran-backed Hezbollah group. This latest wave of attacks marks a significant escalation in hostilities, surpassing earlier reports of 150 targeted sites.

This series of strikes represents one of the most intensive military operations by Israel against Hezbollah in nearly a year. In response to the ongoing conflict, the Lebanese Health Ministry has instructed hospitals in southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley to postpone non-urgent medical operations to prepare for incoming casualties. The ministry's statement emphasized the need for hospitals to be ready for those injured due to what it termed "Israel's expanding aggression on Lebanon."

Additionally, Lebanon's education minister announced the closure of schools in the eastern and southern regions of the country, as well as in the southern suburbs of Beirut, for two days in light of the ongoing military actions. The situation remains fluid as both sides continue to engage in military operations.
