Israeli forces conduct attacks in Rafah, killing dozens

Israeli forces have killed at least 27 Palestinians in ongoing military operations across Gaza, with significant activity reported in Rafah, near the border with Egypt. Medical sources indicate that 13 individuals, including three children, lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes on two residential homes in the Mesbah area of Rafah. The attacks completely destroyed the properties, and emergency responders reported ongoing efforts to reach those potentially trapped in the rubble.

As Israeli tanks advanced further into northwest Rafah, heavy fire and explosions were heard throughout the city, with reports of several houses being demolished. Hamas’s armed wing stated that their fighters were engaged in intense battles against advancing Israeli forces in the Tanour neighborhood.

The Israeli military claims to have eliminated hundreds of Palestinian fighters and destroyed military infrastructure in recent weeks.
