Israeli air forces launched attacks on more than 15 Hezbollah rocket launch sites and military infrastructures in southern Lebanon. The strikes, carried out in response to ongoing confrontations along the border between Israel and Hezbollah, targeted positions suspected of being prepared for imminent rocket attacks on Israel. According to Lebanese security sources, explosions were reported in a valley in southern Lebanon, possibly hitting a Hezbollah weapons depot.
In parallel, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza targeted a Hamas command center reportedly set up in a former school building. The Israeli army confirmed the operation on its Telegram channel, stating that the facility was used by Hamas militants.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israeli military operations over the past ten days have resulted in the deaths of around 35 suspected terrorists and the arrest of 45 others in areas such as Jenin, Tulkarm, and Fara. Israeli forces seized a significant amount of weapons and explosives and destroyed three bomb-making labs in Jenin, a known militant stronghold.
The White House has called on Israel to investigate the death of a U.S. activist in the West Bank. Additionally, negotiations between Israel and Hamas, mediated by the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt, remain stalled, though U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken hinted at a potential new proposal to move discussions forward.
