Israel plans to expand military strikes into eastern Lebanon

The Israeli military has announced plans to broaden its strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, specifically targeting locations in the Bekaa Valley in the eastern part of the country. Military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated in a televised address that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will continue monitoring Hezbollah's activities to prevent potential attacks on Israeli territory.

Hagari emphasized the military's intention to conduct large-scale, targeted strikes in the Bekaa Valley, indicating that residences in the area contain rockets and drones that pose threats to Israel. He noted, "The sights now from south Lebanon are of secondary explosions of Hezbollah weapons, which are exploding inside houses."
